KNOW your GOALS by HEART

do you even REMEMBER what you set out to TODAY this also goes for your daily tasks so here is a story that applies to remembering your goals / tasks

my wife on this road trip was going to be stressed if we went to this convention center in Utah I was stressed because she was stressed so we where not going to be ok on this trip

we where staying with a family member and he was not home so I believe we where most likely yelling at each other

I do not like yelling so

I said our plan needs to be simple and memorable so we do not get to the point of not knowing why we where here

our plan

  1. we wake up
  2. EAT
  3. we pray / read scriptures
  4. we go out for the day

I know that this plan was simple and is almost childish on how simple and clear it is

but it is what helped ourselves know the plan

but you know what we definitely stuck to the plan

the reason…

we could remember and memorize our goals and tasks within 5 seconds

so that is the secret to actually sticking with it and not succumbing to anxiety

I am going to break down why for each of my goals

first … We wake up waking up is something hard not to do eventually that is pretty much a auto win

but it goes further then that for many people have to do specific things to feel awake

that is what is meant first WAKE UP

second we eat this is to sustain us until we stall out at lunch needing to stop the daily tasks and restart until dinner

3rd thing is more for making sure that we are aligned to our beliefs and goals

then 4th we go out and finish what we wanted to do this morning

which was in this case just to have a good day

because sometimes that is the only thing that we can manage
