Have you ever wanted to get some work done and could not accomplish the work before you because of some outside circumstance. Well I definitely have also. Here is the deal I will not claim I know THE answer but I will try to show 1 answer.

but first a story that will get your mind primed for my answer… if you want the answer it is in the title.

so I have the problem of starting every computer hobby EVER whether it is a home lab, making an email server, down to making this website. I have started A lot of computer hobbies beyond that but one hobby describes the title so well.

When I was young I wanted to play video games on the family computer (it was an old 2008 iMac) it was 2014 all I wanted was to play Minecraft at a decent speed.

The problem was I could not.

Running at 45 fps was not going to happen either.

so I set out to configure all the tweeks to get the game running good.

long story short:

I upgraded the ram … never did anything.

so in the end I had to give up a portion of my spending money and saved for like a year (or longer!) then I build my first gaming computer!

This story can show many lessons of life, so here is one lesson that I can pull from this story.

I had to subtract from my normal activities to get what I wanted.

no more random purchases from the internet.

no more toys.

no more candy (I was only 12y).

but in the end that computer was good until 18y and I enjoyed it so much.

even tho in my story it was not all together planned. it was obvious what I needed to do if I wanted that gaming computer.
